Default DTC code of P0740 and p0307

I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.2. The check engine light is on. I had it read, and it came up with P0740-Torque Convertor Clutch Circuit Malfunction. How do you fix this?

It also came up with the codes p307 and the other ones for random cyclinder misfire. I changed the plugs wire and cap within 20k miles. I have autolite platinum plugs and autolite wires. What would cause the cylinders to miss fire.

Also there are times when coming to a stop the truck will cut off. It always starts back up.

Thanks in advance.

As far as the second question goes, did you route the wires properly? The wires for cylinders 5 and 7, I believe, need to be wired differently otherwise our Magnum engines will misfire. Do a search on the forums here for more info on that, its been discussed before.

As far as the first problem, I would advise you to take it to a transmission expert.
