Default Help me ID

I have recently bought a used 01 Ram 1500 Laramie.

It has an aftermarket exhause and lift with 37" tires.

Can anybody give me help in identifying the type of muffler and how much lift it has? I figure this is a long shot but it does not hurt to ask. The main reason I am aksing is in case I decide to make changes i would like to know where I am starting from.

Some pics showing what I am guessing are the blocks under the front and back springs and the muffler.

I am new here so if the oics look like crap I will repost.

Appreciate any ideas.

It would be easier if we could see a picture of the whole truck. Or at least hold a ruler next to the springs.

It's just hard to tell from the a picture of the springs with nothing around to put it in preportion.

From the picture of the whole truck I'd guess it has about 5" of lift on it if those are 37" tires. Does it rub at all?

I'm betting those are actually 35's on stock suspension.

According to some calculations. Knowing the rim is 17". Both front and back fenders are about 39" off the ground. Give or take .5". If I remember correctly stock (non offroad) fender height is 37" front and 39" rear. If it's a factory off road then the numbers should be 39" front and 41" rear i believe. So either it's a stock offroad ram with huge tires stuffed under it and my rear calculation was slightly wrong. Or it's not an offroad edition and has a leveling kit in the front.

I could be completely wrong.

Get a measurement from the middle of the hub (dead center between all five lug nuts) to the bottom of the fender, front and rear. Front should be 21.5 stock and 23.5 offroad edition. Rear should be 23.5 stock and 25.5 offroad edition. That will tell how much lift you have because it doesn't factor in the diameter of the tire.
