Last night was crazy.. 21 inches of snow in 26 hours.. Anyway i saw a county mounty sitting in the ditch. I should have driven by but I dont just let people sit in the ditch.. I asked it he wante to be pulled out. So I did. Then he asked that I pull him to a main road. (about 7miles) the drifts were as tall as my bumper. The crownvic wasnt gonna me it. Well 4lo and 7 miles later.. 100 dollar ticket and the information that it is illeagal to pull a car without a towing lisence.. F***er i told him I outta drag his a** back into the ditch and leave him there. That landed me a disorderly conduct ticket too. I have it all on video as soon as I fiqure out how to put it on the comp I can show u guys from start to end.

 

Some people are just dicks. Wow. Next time, just stop and ask him if he would like some nice hot coffee, and then when he says yeah, drive away laughing.

 

Dude, wtf?? You pulled him out, dragged his sorry *** 7 miles, then he gives you a ticket? What a dick. I would not pay that, even if it is only $100. What is the video on? If it is just on a digital camera, upload it like pictures, then get a photobucket account and upload it then give us the URL.

I'd fight that for sure. Especially considering he solicited you for the tow. Pulling him out of the ditch, I don't think, would be considered towing, but the 7 mile trip would I guess. He solicited that one, thus, he is at fault. Good luck.

Could that almost be entrapment? I mean he could have said no it's illeagal. I would defenetly fight this one. A good samaritan should not be punished, at least a warning for someone willing to help another person in need. I have a good friend that is a cop and in no way would any of them do somthing like that. That is absolutly rediculous! Man I am PO'ed. Well next time you no exactly what to do, just keep on rollin.
