1 minute of programming costs $110?
Thanks for all of the positive feedback. I think I will look for a used Hypertech. BTW, everything here in SE Louisiana has been high as giraffe's nuts since that dreaded storm moved through. Not only did the prices shoot through the roof, but the quality sucks big time.
I feel your pain OE.
Still can't figure out why parts stores became Latino hangouts either. Think quality is the same, but service everywhere has gone down since the storm.
Im in Kenner BTW and part time in BR.
Which dealer did you go to? The big one on Vets? Northsore, Westbank or Hammond?
I have yet to get a thing from the dealer for my dodge, but always want to see which one has the best service just in case.
Hey hometheatreman....who was selling that programmer and do you know how much he wants for it???....i have a 2000 and i have been wanting to get one of those but wanted to find a used one if i could...let me know and thanx!

Just saw someone said they would buy it for that though. That wasn't there last time I checked the thread. You may want to see if he sold it or not though.

My memory is hazy on this
but I seem to recall that the
SnapOn OBD-II diagnostic scanner
can reprogram the pinion factor
on 1996+ Rams
I would not be surprised if the SCT tuner can do that to.
