RE: tips on getting my dodge loud
Take a grinder to the pipe right before your muffler about say 2 inches in front of the muffler itself and start cutting a hole in the pipe that goes across the whole diameter in 1/4" strips. Cut out small slivers and continue making the slivers wider and wider until the appropriate sound has been found. I did this and it sounded nice and clean.
Just don't try this in front of your catalytic converter. The O2 sensors will trip a check engine light and you'll lose about half your mileage plus the exhaust will be scratchy and extremely loud when you step on it.
So long as you do this to the pipe after the cat and before the muffler say 2 inches away from the muffler, it'll sound good. Just make the cuts as smooth as possible because if you don't you'll probably get the whistling effect nornally found around small exhaust leaks.

no muffler is illegal in south carolina haha.
how much do you think this would cost? i been planning on getting some flowmasters but iv been told many different answers on how much it would be.i was thinking about 600 dollars for everything to be done to it?
anything to do to the engine to make it louder? and whats the difference between flowmasters 10 and 40 and all that?

I must not have made myself clear. Apologies...
I meant that when you make the cut, you make it through just the bottom half of the pipe, in front of the muffler, and take out roughly 1/4" strips untill the sound has been made to your liking...
When it comes to mufflers and all your exhaust components, you can check summitracing.com or jegs.com for pricing and you'll be on your way.
