Default throtel linkage/Tranny linkage

O.K I think this is going to sound realy wired. When my truck is running in park you can push the gas pedal all the way to to floor, but when it is in drive (driving down the road) the pedal will only go down about 1/4 of the way. I put alot of pressure on it trying to get it to go down and my tranny shifts up into nutral.

Throttle..Weird..Neutral.... Ok I think your cable adjustment is WAY off. Get a Haynes manual to check the proper adjustments.

+1 Haynes Manual...
check ALL your linkages, what they're connected to, what they do, how they move...
def. weird.
