Well, to answer your question... No, I haven't tried his TB's.

The other pics don't look quite as bad as the first, but I'd be wary. Maybe search his feedback for buyers of his TB's.

I wouldn't pay $150 (+$39 core) for it, but that's me. I can't say it's crap without seeing and...

Oh, hell! I just looked at the Fastmans site. $225 for the 50 or 52mm? I would not hesitate to get the Fastman unless you can get the other one REALLY cheap!

I wouldn't risk it myself. I do realize youwere being cautious, and that you were looking for people who actually bought that TB. Sorry if I told you things you already knew...

Thanks for all the input everyone. I've got an extra TB and intake laying around in the garage, so maybe I'll try doing something with that before I buy anything.

That is what I would do, since you already have one laying around. As for the ebay one, I feel it is way overpriced for being virtually no different than the one you will take off your truck other than 2 minutes of grinding off only a portion of the restrictive tabs. I agree with everyone else on here, that looks like a hack job. I am very happy with the Fastman TB I got. You wouldn't be saving too much money by getting the ebay one, and for sure would have much less of a product. I have yet to find a comprable TB for the money than Fastman. I would definitely buy one from him again. That's my $.02 on the subject.

Would someone please put their truck on a chassis dyno and do a dyno run with the stock TB and then do a dyno run with the modified TB? Could we get some objective results other than a butt dyno?
Please?
