hey guys i looked everywhere and i cant find the type of tranny i have. 98 dodge ram 1500, 4 x 2, 5.2. thanks

It's the 46 RE on 4x4 models I know. Is it the same on 2wd ones?

Yes, same tranny in 2wd and 4wd, minus the transfer case though
