Default ABS light and Brake light came on???

This makes no sense to me....Truck was fine when i parked it, and the next morning i started it up and my abs light and my red brake light were on....(never touched the parking break, not that it works anyway haha) so i tried releasing the parking break, but that didn't do it, brake fluid is okay too, anyone have any ideas?
thanks

Check the brake and abs fuses. If they're blown you'll get that.
Pull up on the brake pedal and see if they go off. There's a switch there and if it's broken it won't trigger to turn them off.

It is usually the rear wheel speed sensor mounted on top of the rear differential..

Anyone know that part number for the rear speed sensor. Gone to Autozone twice now and they keep trying to give me the tranny sensor or front ABS wheel sensors. My light just comes on and off whenever it likes it seems. About time I give this a try.

98 2500 5.9L 4x4.
