Headlight replacement
Those look good. I need to fix my passenger HL and it sounds like this is the way to go. My adjustment screw is bent and the light is pointing down. Will I need the whole assembly? I assume the previous owner hit something.

I managed to wedge them in there at an angle, keeping the tabs away from anything that could break them off. The headlights themselves are heavy duty plastic, they will bend/give a little and allow you to squeeze them in there. At least, mine did anyway. Just watch those tabs.
EDIT: No, I did not loosen the bumper.

I like them a lot more than I thought I would. They are very sharp and bright, but not as bright as those blinding ones you sometimes see on the newer vehicles. Just what I wanted.
They also give the vehicle a different look to it that usually makes people look twice. Believe it or not, the original reason I started looking was because I didn't like the tinted lenses for the reverse lights on the stock taillights. The reverse lights did nothing at night, I couldn't see anything when I was backing up. So when I saw these attractive LED ones on eBay with the clear reverse housing, I couldn't resist. These are also a brand new style, haven't been on the market for very long. I originally started looking around November, and these weren't online yet.

Yeah I got this pair off ebay and love them-I paid $130 for these and I have the silverstar ultra's in there now- Its funny cause I'll be turning a corner and see the people hold their hands up because they're so bright-the install wasn't bad at all-you just have to finagle the assembly in there carefully-I had both replace in about 45 min and didn't have to remove the bumper or anything

Well.. I have messed with the headlights many a times.. as you can read.. it is possable to do the unistall/install without messing with the bumer (pain in the ***) but yes you can do it.. and thats what i recomend if you dont have any help.. If you take off/loosen the bumper you will need help to get it back into place.. someone to lift.. and someone to tighten. I took my bumper completely off, mainly because i get hott headed[:@] and start tearing **** up if it becomes to much of a pain.. which is the case if you leave the bumper on.

I bought the aftermarket clears (not projectors or fancy LEDs, to ricer-ish for my blood) and I love them. Check out the cardomain link in my sig to see them on my truck.
If you get aftermarket clears like mine (or the black ones, which are similar), you won't use the bracket your current headlights/sidemarkers use. These aftermarkets are a true "one piece" headlight assembly, they were far easier to install than I expected. You remove the headlights, sidemarkers, and then the bracket, and put these in. They screw in exactly like the bracket did, and are much brighter (even with standard bulbs).
Go with whatever style you think you would like best, in the end it boils down to personal preference.

Just out of curiousity, and correct me if I'm wrong, but technically aren't the haloprojecter headights illegal on 2nd generation rams (except for off-road use)? I know there's a slim chance that a cop would actually pull you for em, but knowing my luck they'd get me. I know there's an old post here about this, but couldnt find it.
