cracked brakes

You will have to bleed the front brakes if you replace the calipers, but not the back if you do not work on them.

my brakes were grinding so i bought all new pads to find only the passenger side rear were grinding and all other pads were in excellant shape better than the ones i bought. it looked like the dealer never changed those brakes and they were all brittle and falling apart.let me know if the crack is an indicator to something.
I would say the passenger side caliper was sticking. The cracked lining on the pads leads me to believe they had been over heated. I would replace both calipers and pads and have the rotors resurfaced or replaced.

Are the Cardone calipers any good? I can get them cheap from Fishers. Seems like that or Bendix from Summit are my only options around here.
I had cardone calipers on my sunfire. They did the job just fine. They are fine for replacements. Go with them.
