But diameterwise, they shouldn't have a problem fitting in place???
That's my only concern because I can always do some cutting and grinding work to make em fit, unless maybe someone here knows something that I don't...
I never responded as to why they wouldnt work basically because I don't know. All the guys who above said it wouldnt work w/o a lot of fab work. I do not know enough about the 2wd suspension to even guess. I as well as the above posters all have 4wd. Would it fit a 4wd, heck yea, and you replace bump stops, lower control arms, track bar, etc... all the stuff that would be in a 6" lift kit. Well in your case your taking 4wd coils and putting them in 2wd. I think in your case the 2wd your height is dependent on the spindle?? sorry I do not know for sure but from my quick glancing, I would assume that if you did fit that 6" lift coil inplace of your stock ones w/o major modification, I would assume you would eventually break something because of excessive stressor have an extremely stiff ride because your compressing it so much to fit in a small spot. Again I think it is dependent on teh spindle height. Look up 6" 2wd lifts for a 99 and see what you come up with. do a 3" spindle lift and 3" body lift.
