I got the CEL on my new truck today. Already know it need a plenum and its getting that this sat. But im trying to figure out what code it says anyways and it wont work. I know on my old dodge i would just turn the key on off 3 times and it would flash the cel and i would get the code that way. But this one it just doesnt work? Anyone have any tips?

 

In my area, Pep Boys allows you to borrow their scanner if you take the vehicle to their store. There is probably a parts store nearby that would do the same for you. Call around.
