My 98 didnt come with anything in the bumper openings and ive been wanting to put in the fog light inserts that most 2nd generation rams havebut i can not find any place on the internet that sells the grille inserts that the fog lights need to be put in.

I have a set of the gray plastic bezels. Not sure if they will fit your truck or not,but I can check. You would still need to buy the lights. Or, you can just install lights like I did (see the link in my sig for pics of my truck).

 

if i want to just put them in like that without the bracket what kind of lights would i need to get

How are those fog lights mounted, to the bumper above or below the light? Got any detailed photos on the mounting? Could you take some? I've got a set of Hella 500's I want to mount in those holes.

 

yea i am just trying to come up with a way to put something in those openings of my bumper, it is kind of an eye soar

 

or after you get the inserts , you can go this route.

yea thats probably what i will do... i found a website that sells whole sale parts and i found the inserts but it says under specifications that they are for 3.9L 6 cyclinder rams and mine is a 5.2L V8 and was wondering if it would really make a difference since they have the same bumpers and everything.
