I still dont like the colors

Thats not a bad deal. Do not get the accel coil though. Accel ignition components are junk, dont waste your time with them. MSD or Mallory all the way for ignition.
There you are...I was waiting for your response. I really DO LIKE the black/red wires from Jeg's, but this deal seems too good to pass up... I don't know... My money won't be here for another week or so, so we'll see...[8D]

Can't comment on the quality but it is all a nice matching pretty blue colour.
The Accel coil looks like a factory one painted yellow.
The Factory "E type" coil is fairly stout on its own
Looks like a good deal on the tune up kit though.
Add some Champion Truck plugs and loose the heat shields for maximum BLING!

I was posting about summit headers awhile ago, and got a lot of negative feedback about how Summit uses the big brands' junk. IDK what the validity on that is, but I know some of their air filters were made in conjunction with K&N, so even if it was K&N's second tier stuff, that's still good stuff! But I think that Summit wouldn't risk their name being on junk parts, so I guess it's worth a shot to save money, but in my minds it works like this;

Not many people buy the MSD Wires, so the risk of them making a bad set is low.
Many people can buy the Summit wires, so the risk of them sending out a bad set is higher, due to the volume being sold.

So either way, you can get a lime or a lemon.

I like the blue wires a lot...not too crazy about the baby blue cap and rotor, though.[8D]

I have personally never had a good experience with accel ignition components (their wires aren't bad, however.)

I'm not too fond of accel because I think they spend too much on packaging. Kinda silly right? It just seems like cheap parts, nice box to me. To consider that a valid reason for not using their parts is ridiculous though. I've liked my autolite, and I'm due for a nice tune up; but no funds because this transmission fix up has my bill collecters calling. Gah.

Well at the time when I bought mine...., people were putting in the msd setup's. Aparently the msd setup can throw a cel? Yea well im not the custom metal worker, so Idon't have the resources or knowledge to fab up something nice to make it work. With that, I still had the stock coil and was looking to swap it out while doing my my tuneup. I'm honestly not amajor fanof msd for some reason.. (sorry). So what was I left with? Imcompletely not afan of hypertech at all.....so what am I left with? Accel seemed to be the obvious choice. Eitherway I just want you guys to know that the accel coil does work fine with the adapter harness in my application. If someone wants to pm me about why this coil is so bad, I would love to hear it! As far as the packageing goes, mine was pretty generic. Accel box with the coil, 2 stickers, and that was it. Not too fancy imho. We all have our preferences, but if someone has a genuine experience with the accel coil being so bad, I really wanna hear it to pm me.

Thanks
