Better gas mileage?
Remove the CAI and block part of the radiator so the engine stays comfortably numb.....uh, I mean warm.

Shell Oil Company has an additive that they have 'proven' improves MPG by a small amount, but the first version of this special additive also caused Chrysler style fuel tank level sensor resistor strips to go bad.

There is a a research paper published in the SAE Journal back many years ago that showed that finely powdered 'rare earth' metals like lanthanum and cerium added to gasoline improved fuel economy slightly. These rare earth metal compounds are what are mixed into the "mantles" of kerosene lanterns like the Coleman style, and as carbides are also the 'flints' of cigarette lighters. My memory is fuzzy on this, but I think there is a British company continuing this with a diesel fuel additive with finely powdered nano sized rare earth oxides.

This additive has a noticeable effect on how the engine 'feels'

but it would take a very careful test to determine what it really does fuel economy wise,
although I am willing to grant the Fort Worth based Lubrication Engineers Company the 'benefit of the doubt' based on their long history of good products

well i just got back from my 350 mi trip to the U.P. nd back nd all i gotta say is i love my truck, it ran absolutly great. i only averaged about 12 mpg but thats a hell of a lot better then usual city driving. but my trucks so dependable nd i got to spend a good 6 hour drive with my truck too both ways. i set my cruise control for 73 pretty much the whole way there nd my truck did great maintaining speed going up and down hills nd on the way back when i got on the home stretch for aobut 100 mi i was going anywhere between 80 to 91 mph nd still was just great. nd my buddy was with me nd i was giving him crap cause last year we made the same trip with his 86 full size bronco nd we got stranded cause the engine seized so that was fun too.. i just love how dependable my truck is even on long trips like that nd she did great in the 2 ft of snow up there as well.. i used the lucus on the first tank of gas on the way there nd i noticed a little difference so i might keep testing it around town.. thanks everybody nd ill talk to you later..
