New Ball Joints, Bearings, Etc
Seeing as how I go to HVCC for auto tech, and I can get anything repaired on my truck for $15 and the cost of parts, I'm going to have my entire front end re-vamped. I've had this mysterious shake at 35, 60, & 65 mph, and having 137k+ on the clock, I think it's time. My steering is also starting to wander a bit, which leads me to believe, my mechanic was wrong about my ball joints, seeing as how my track bar is tight.
My plans are new upper and lower ball joints, both sides, and new wheel bearings. I was thinking about doing the tie rods too, but I'm not sure yet. I may replace the front shocks as well. I think my lower shock bolt on the driver's side is stripped out. I had it re-tourqed, and the shake got worse.
Is there anything else you guys would recommend doing while I'm in there?
And I'd like to use decent parts. I don't want to have to be replacing these things again for a long time. Any brands you would recommend? or should I get genuine Mopar parts?
Thanks guys.

if i could find someone to work on my truck for $15, i'd replace every blooming moving part in the front end, including gears in front and rear.
gears and install kit, seals, bearings, ball joints, u-joints, rotors, pads, track bar, tie rod ends, shocks. lets see, did i miss anything ?
spicer or moog. look for greasable versions of the parts.

As for gears, there's nothign wrong with them, so I'm not gonna replace them.
I was thinking Moog, but i also saw TRW. Anyone know anything about TRW stuff?
I'd get moog or spicer also. A buddy that used to work at Advance told me not to get TRW stuff but I don't know why. I used their idler arm on a old truck but thats all I've used from them.
