4x4 posi lock (replaces vac lines for 4x4)
I was looking thru the summit catalog when i got my tune up kit and pro flo air cleaner. i saw this posi lock. Its 199 dollars but it gives you positive control of the 4wd so you shift manually into 4wd with the pull of a cable. My vac linewas suspect before the fire, and after the fire i don't know how the hell to route the 4x4 vac lines. Is this anygood? Anyone run one of these?
I figure the dealershp would charge me 200 clams to fix the vac lines, and this comes with instructions so i can do it myself.
What do you guys think?

The posi lock is one of the best things you can do for your truck if you actually use 4 wheel drive or if you ever want to depend on it! I have used one for years because when it snows I use my 4x4 & the factory vaccum system flat out sucks.
I have never personally ran one, but from what i read from other posts on it here they are great. You know for sure the front axle is either locked in or not, besides from what i read you can use 2lo if you need the extra torque if need be which in times can be good at times.
i've got one and i really like it.
my favorite feature is the ability to ease around in 2wd low.
here's some intall tips.

I have one as well. If you search around on here, there's quite a few of us actually. Install took me about 30 min.
