I just put 20 on my sides and 5 on the back. There is a guy on ebay who sells tint for our trucks pre-cut. Even though I still fudged it up, from three+ feet you can't tell. It was a windy day and I got dust in the tint and it shows up bad, and I have some creases on the back windoe, but for $25 its not bad.

I put a rear-view camera on my truck too. I haven't finished putting my truck back together yet, but it is supposed to be night vision at night and color in the day. $40 bucks, plus I already had a Jensen that had a plug-in for a rear camera.

If you only tinted the sides and left the back, it may look funny from the inside, but no one outside can really see the back and side windows at the same time. The stock is 20% if you put 35% on top of that it would look darker but not too dark to see through.

IDK I would go with the camera, it goes right on the license plate and should make backing it up to a trailer hitch a five second chore.

 

I put 20% on my sides. Stock tint is 20, but factory tint is hard to match color. The new stuff I put on is a little more mirrored than stock, but I think it looks just fine.

 

I've thought about putting a rear view camera on there but the Alpine H/U I have now isn't one with a screen so I don't want to really spend a $1000 on a H/U with a screen when I've already got a pretty nice higher end Alpine now thats just a normal one without the flip out screen.

I got a ticket in a lightning for having all 5% here in illinois. But i ahve seen the rear (extcab window/backwindow) limo tint and the front ones smoked and it made it look completely darkened (hard to see) looked sweet but dont want cops pulling my chain. Anybody have on their trucks the smoked tint with a mirror like reflection on the top?
