Sounds stupid but I can't figure it out

Try resetting the PCM by unplugging the battery for a while, let the computer re-learn what your sensors are telling it now that they are clean and such.
Worth a try, its free.

RE: Sounds stupid but I can't figure it out
Thats a good thought......but I dont think so because it has never stalled when I was letting it run today
Well heres what I did, If you hold the RPM at roughly 2500 it runs rough, but it seems like it wants to run good because it picks up and starts to run smooth, then it starts to stutter again, you can hear the exhaust note change.
It sounds like when you have one plugged fouled out, and when you rev it up its runs smoother.
I beat the **** out of the cat with a hammer to see if that would make a difference but it didnt, I thought I might have not got all the honeycomb when I gutted it awhile ago and it was somehow causing a misfire on Cylinder #7 or #8
I leaning toward the MAP sensor being screwed up, but I dont see how I FUKED it up, because it ran like normal before I cleaned the TB
Could the bad or not fully sealed TB gasket cause the MAP to throw a code??????

RE: Sounds stupid but I can't figure it out
Finally figured it out...............thank god it was starting to **** me off
Well I was looking under the hood when it was dark out and I noticed that the #3 plug wire was arching on the valve cover.......so it was the plug wire after all
That solved the rough running and engine bucking going down the road
But I still have a MAP sensor code........The scanner said the voltage was too high.........and according to the HAYNES manual it says to replace the MAP sensor voltageif it isout of a certain parameter.
The question is should I replace the MAP sensor?????????????? The truck seems to be running alright

If your still getting the map code, then replace the map sensor.
I've heard if you unhook the battery at the terminal for about 5 mins and then turn the key like you're turning the truck over, it clears codes. IDK if that's true or not as I use my superchips to read and clear DTCs.
