Sounds stupid but I can't figure it out
Alright guys, I decided to clean my throttle today. Everything went great, it came out nice and clean, and it ran good when I drove around the block shortly after installing it. So I went back up to the garage and parked the truck,so I could re-install the air-cleaner. Well, when I started the truck up againit was running rough and when you would put it in gear the motor would shake and vibrate the whole truck. So I started to drive away and low and behold the CEL came on.........damnit.
So I extracted the code from the truck, it gave me the # 34, whatever the hell that means. So I decided to clean all the electrical connections and put some di-electric grease on them. I did that to all the injectors and TB sensors. Same thing happened......and it threw the code again.
I have no Idea what the hell I screwed up, but it isnt good.
The truck seems to have a miss of some sort, but I dont know how that could be brought on by me cleaning the TB
I also noticed my PLENUM IS BLOWN, there is oil pooling in the back of the Intake........That would explain why my truck only gets 10 MPG and doesnt seem to have the HP it used to have.
If anybody has any insight it would be greatly appreciated

MAP sensor code , make sure the rubber hose is hook up and the smaller rubber hose from the MAP to the TB is hook up , make sure these hoses are not crack or broke...
I checked the all the plug wires..............I even pulled all of the plugs to check if they were all firing. Everything in Ignition area seems to be good.

Alright just got down checkin all the hoses, they are all good.........there are no vaccum leaks
WTF...............can the MAP sensor go bad???
I didnt even touch the damn thing, except that I took it off before I cleaned the TB

I need to know if you can replace those little various hoses that attach to the TB. I would like to replace them ASAP
Try resetting the PCM by unplugging the battery for a while, let the computer re-learn what your sensors are telling it now that they are clean and such.
Worth a try, its free.
