What went wrong with YOUR Ram today?
No I did not do the TPS mod, But I did replace the TPS about 2 weeks ago
I think my map sensor is screwed because I hooked a scanner up the other day and it said the output voltage of the Map was too high........But im going to check it again because a new sensor from NAPA is 95$
I want to make sure it is the actual problem

Nah, never been off the paved road. Hell I don't even like to drive it in the rain. I get a little **** about clean and detailed vehicles.
Dang thats odd, how close to the beach do you live, they may not salt the roads, but you have enough salt in the air, does a number on cars. Heck mines a 97 with absolutly no rust and I live in the midwest were they salt everything. Come to think of it the last thing and only thing I had to fix in the last 6months was the water pump, and at 180K it was about time for the original to fail. I guess I should count myself lucky.
My jeep frame looked like that before I boxed it.. It was bad, in the rear where the spring eyes mounted to the frame, were large gaping holes about 4" long right behind the spring eye, every time I hit a bump until I boxed it I was scared to death my spring eyes were going to fall off. It was from all the salt the DOT puts on the road here in the winter when it snows.. luckily my ram hasnt become subject to it yet, but my rear bumper is rusted out really bad.. anyone else have that, on a sport model?

I'm miles from any beach. Although in central FL you're always in high humidity and surrounded by the salt. I would expect body cancer 1st though, not the frame.
And hawkeye, that's my main worry is that this is only about 2 inches from the front stabilizer bar mount. Scare me, daddy!
Ironically, I just turned down a '65 conv. Pontiac Catalina. Reason...severe frame rust! Go figger.
