Was underneath the truck doing an oil change when I noticed the frame rust. Poked my finger right through like paper. Now I guess I'll just wait for the front end to fall off!
Anyone else have anything like this going on? Is this normal?

Holy crap man, that sucks big time--looks like swiss cheese. Are you going to patch it? Are there other areas like that?

My truck is idling weird, its doesn't stall out........but it goes up and down 200 rpm when just sitting there

This happened after I cleaned the Tb

Damndest part is, I'm under there about 3X a year cleaning and touching up paint and stuff in addition to maintenance and never saw this coming. And they don't salt roads here in FL like up north. I just don't get it. And yeah, thinking of unloading it pronto.

Have you tried doing that TPS mod? I did it (my idle was just a little rough) and it seems like it really smoothed it out.

 

Did you take it out to Daytona?

I spent a week there way back in the day with my Montero. Afterwards rust just started to appear, it was a pain but I got it under control.
