Iam working on my wifes Jeep. She is having transmission problem; slipping in 2nd and 3rd gears. I also have a 1740 code on my dodge and was thinking about changing out the govoner solenoid and pressure sensor. Are these the same as the torque converter clutch solenoid? Could be a stupid question, but I'm not sure. Where can I buy some? Do parts stores carry these? Any input would save a lot of time. Thanks

no they are different components and serviced separately.
I doubt your local parts store has these.
Best bet would be to contact a transmission shop or transmission wholesaler, or the dealer.
