U/D Pulleys
I had the 3 pulley set and it worked good, depending on my driving habit that day my rpm's were 300-500 lower then normal and i was getting another 3-4 mpg if i was driving nice. now as for the water pump you need one that requires a bolt on pulley, i had to go get a new one just to use the pulley set-up, if you have any questions feel free to im me and somewhere in my previous posts i talked about the pulleys

greenmachine-- every time I see your sig, I get all green with envy.
That is the best looking hood ever IMHO.

To bad all i get to do is look at my sig the same as you.The 00 year was (i believe ) when it changed. You could get a three piece set for previous years. I have only ever put on the crank pulley. The alternator and water pump do not turn at max at idle. That worries some people so they are dooped into buying all three pieces. The accessories run at full capacity at 1200 rpm. Who just sits there that long anyway.
As far as horsepower I do believe you can see a twenty horse gain with electrics and underdrives.
I am running the coolpak. It is a little pricey(575). Looks good and well made. Easy install and hook up. It also has spots for all your bottles. Got it from Summit.
As far as I know, press on water pump for 98 & later so 2pc max.
With a 5.9 should see 11-12rwhp using 3pc alum pulleys and electric fans with no viscous clutch/fan.Probably around10rwhp with steel 2pc pulleys & fans.
In 97 I added March 3pc alum pulleys& they were good for about6-7rwhp and shaved 0.1 sec off my 1/4m ets. Improvement was from idle to redline. 3pc alum pulleys lighter than steel pulleys so less rotational weight adds a bit more hp.Suggest using an Optima battery if you have u/d pulleys.
Flexalite 210bfans ($270/Summit)added in 01. Ets dropped .08 off 1/4m avg(truck weighed 200lbs less).Trap speed almost the same and 60' times were .05 faster. Most of the gains were at the line.Thatsroughly5rwhp. I noticed a slight gain incity mileage(1/2mpg max). Without the shroud andviscous, you canstand between fans/pulleys and work on the engine easier.Without the shroud, the alum pulleyslook much better.
