Default Need very fast answer

Guys, I got my steering stabilizer off (stupid me decided to do it on my lunch break). Now that it's off, I can't put it back on, because I beat the crap out of the bolt that holds it in. Then I realized that the new stabilizer did not come with new rubber grommets for the eyelets. I can't get the old ones out of the OEM stabilizer either. Can I drive my truck with no steering stabilizer??? WTF???

Thanks man. That really irks me that they did not include new grommets for the stabilizer. Can I get some somewhere local, you think? I don't really want to call Jegs and them have to send me some.

I called Autozone and NAPA...neither one had the bushings. I ended up calling Jegs and they said they'd mail me some out today. More waiting...[:@]

Yeah, that ticked me off... It's my first order from them, and I am not pleased. As the old saying goes: Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me. Well, they may not get a chance to screw me twice.[8D] Next time I may try Summit. When you do something every freakin' day, you should get it right the first time, IMO. Ah well, at least they were all over sending me some bushings with no trouble.
