Default New Throttle body and tuner question????

Okay, I know there are a ton of threads about TB's and tuners on here, but I'm hopin this will be faster than searching through them all. I just got a superchips tuner and plan on running it on my truck this weekend ('98 1500-5.2-4x4). However, I've also ordered a fastman 50mm TB, which should arrive in 1-2wks. My question is, if I go ahead and tune my truck with the programmer now, will I need to run the program again after I install the new TB? If thats the case I"ll try to contain my excitement and wait to do it all at once.
Also, on a side note, has anyone installed a 2" leveling kit?Just wondering if it's worth it or if Ishould skip straight to a lift.

THANKS A TON!

You should be fine to go ahead. The tuner won't have to be reloaded after the TB install. It changes your pcm, so it doesn't really matter. There are a few people on here with a level kit I believe. I am going to level mine, but I chose go springs rather than the spacer. You can either get springs from an off-road model or 2500 model. The ride would be rougher, but you might find some for cheap. Or you can pay about $160 for Skyjacker part # D20 which gives you new springs and a 2" front lift.

Yeah I don't think a tuner like a Hypertech or Superchips would make a difference as it doesn't set anything differently if you have a tb. If you went with a custom flash you where you could change it if you had a tb installed or not might matter but with a Hypertech or Superchips you should be fine.
