Hear me out. I was changing relays in my PDC with relays in a junkyard PDC and when i turned my truck on it sounded likea monster. I would tap the gas and it would ROAR. the only bad thing was that the transmission would slip and it wouldn't get out of first gear. I replaced the relays with the ones that came with my PDC and the truck wen't back to normal.

There were the square relays and the last 2 digits on mine were 45, and the last3 digits on the "performance" relays was 35. Also the rectangle relays were off by one number.

Anyone else heard of this. This weekend i will make a video of it.

Just putting it out there. My guess is that the relays that controlled fuel pressure were different.

 

Well I'm quite not buyin' this "performance relay" business but I'll wait for your video.
relays turn power on and off. they are a essentially a switch.
check the top or bottom of the relays for the numbers 30, 87 and 87a and see if they are all the same.
