Default When Fuel pumps are going Bad

Symtom of a "Pump Going Bad"..

I have noticed a slight hesitation/sputter when accelerating at low fuel tank levels (about the first mark above empty) for about 3000 miles now and KNEW it was likely time for a new fuel pump. Was out of town on business and was planning on getting the pump soon and taking a weekend to replace it. Well, I was too late. Shut her off for a few minutes, started backup then she sputtered about 3 ft. down the road and died.

Called AAA for the tow and got to a local (High Springs, FL)repair shop and for $490 gotthe pump installedand back on the road.

Just wanted to warn anyone who may have the same symtom to change it out befor it's too late.
