With Dan, I think it depends on whether or not he's got one on the shelf, or he has to mill one. IMO, APS is slow. I bought a plenum kit and a TC from them, and had to wait a whileboth times.

Yeah I don't know about the TB from Dan as I haven't ordered one yet. I'm not sure if I will but they kind of have my attention. I've just put soo much into the rest of this truck I have no more money left to put into a TB right now.

Anyway I also agree on the fact that APS is slow. They have great products and Wanye is a great guy to deal with but they are slow. I took me a little over a month to get my transmission with them. I was originally told it would be on a crate ready to ship in a week but it was on Christmas eve he took my order and even though they were close until after new years he said he would do mine. Well it ended up taking a month to get it ready to ship instead of a week but like I said it was around Christmas so I can't blame him and Wanye more than made up for it anyway.

I then ordered the Pleneum kit from him and would say it took a week and a half maybe 2 weeks. They gave me a tracking number but the tracking number never said it had been shipped just that the billing info had been received. I emailed them and asked about this and got an email back saying it must be an error as they had seen it go on the truck themselves. I ended up getting it in about a week and a half or so which was fine with me. Apparently USPS just didn't update the tracking info as it still didn't say it had been shipped until after I got it then it went straight to has been delievered.

Overall APS isn't the fastest company out there but they have great products and are great to deal with. IMO it's well worth the wait.

Now if I order a TB from fastman, but one of the bolt heads has broken off on the side of TB where it screws into the line bracket, is that still acceptable? Everything works fine, I just can't screw in one of the screws near the firewall because the head was broken off. If I had the right drill bit I'm sure I could back it out though.

This is my current TB i'm talking about, not one I have ordered. I just wonder if it's ok to send as the core.

Call Dan directly and tell him about your issue. He'll tell you whether he can accept your TB or not based on your description. Dan's a really nice guy. He even installed my TB right in his driveway.

Mine only took about a week to a week and a half to receive. Dan is a really pleasant guy to deal with. His work is excellent!

You just pay a little more is all, and you might have to wait a little longer.

I believe in addition to the $225 + $10 shipping, he charges you an $80 core charge, which he later refunds you if you send him your old TB. If you don't, he keeps the $80.
