Default Replacement Gears

Hey guys, im new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could tell me what are the best gears to put in my truck. I'm not sure but I think i have 3.55 in there now...
Here's the skinny: It's a 96 Ram 1500 5.2L, i'm running on 35" BFG's with a 3"lift, the truck is my daily driver and i really don't drive that much on the highway, the most towing i do is an aluminum john boat &/or single quad,i do go in the woods but nothing extreme, my gas mileage is around 9 MPG's now...Iwant tocontinue to run 35"s until she dies, but may drop down to 33"s...From what I've read alot of guyshave the 4.11 gears, if anybody has a setup similar to mine please let me know how they are & what's your gas mileage, also saw some 4.56 and 4.88 out there? also what companies do you guys recommend?

Thanks for your help

I don't have any ideas on what ratio would be best, but Randys Ring and Pinion seems to come up a lot as a good site to obtain information and parts. From what I've heard, there has been nothing but good responses about them.

I'm running 35's with 4.10's now, and it is terrible. Defiently go 4.56 or 4.88. I get about 10-12 mpg. Randy's Ring and Pinion is a good place to find them, and I like Yukon, Genuine, and Precision gears.

I have Yukon 4.56's. But I have lockers/limited slip front and rear so noise is hard to judge if it's the gears or the lockers. Haven't had any problems yet though. My first tow with the 4.56's will be in 2 weeks when I get back from Germany.
