Best single upgrade?
I want a good looking truck but I also wantthe engine to do a bit more.
This year most of the truck budget is maintance. But, I will have some extra so the question is.

A) APS SHIFT KIT
B) FASTMAN TB
C) 1.7 ROCKERS
Jeff
Wow, tough call. The 1.7 rockers will most likely net you the most power gain, but the shift kit will make the trans shift much harder and more precise, while the TB will increase throttle response greatly. I would have to go with the 1.7 rockers.
Tough call indeed. Its definitely between the Fastman TB and Roller Rockers for me. However, since I don't have either one yet, I guess I really don't have the experience to say.

harland sharp roller rockers. Were made especially as direct bolt ins for magnum engines. I would deff do a kegger mod with this because the greater flow will go hand in hand with the bigger lift you will get from the rockers. Same goes for when you get the fastman TB.
I would start with the throttle body, then kegger mod, then the roller rockers. Take your time and do the mods over a couple years. Get used to the feeling of one mod before you go to another.
Also, bigger injectors, I have the ford motorsport 24#s. THink in terms of the whole package when you do mods. All mods do is either increase air and/or fuel in the combustion chamber. If you get a throtle body, and do a kegger mod, you are helping the engine get more air. Since you are getting more air in there you will get an exponential gain in HP if you get more fuel in with it (bigger injectors). The 1.7s should be done after you maximized fiel and air intake, because all the roller rockers will do is allow more air/fel mixture in the chambers.
When i had my camaro, people used to say "It aint a real "mod" unless you have to change jets." That is talking about the carburator.

wait a minute...
the 1.7 RR just increase the duration of the intake and exhaust valve strokes (yes, and reduce friction on the valvetrain with needle point bearings, padodgeram
). That alone isn't enough to warrant an injector swap. And he isn't going to outflow the stock kegger or exhaust manifolds with them either.
That would be my first vote as well.
and at least open up the stock air box with a $30 round air cleaner setup or that edelbrock air gap spongy thingy.

For me it was probably my stereo lol. I enjoy it quite a bit. I don't have a Fastman TB or roller rockers although I've had my eye on a Fastman 52mm TB I just have put soo much into the rest of my truck I don't have the money I want to put into it right now. Honestly I've done some things that help with the power of it and yeah I like them but I think I like having a nice stereo more than I do power as with all these bolt on things while they do help you have to realize you still have a 6500lbs truck. Minus well go for more comfort than speed. If you want something fast you might have bought the wrong thing. Then again it can't hurt to try and make it faster too. I just think the stereo was better than the rest of the mods.

For me it was the Geno's Garage cupholder!! lol. Now I can drink coffee in my '96 without it jumping onto the floor on the first bump I go over.
