when warmed up it turns over alot to start
when my truck is cold it starts right up no prob;but once it gets warmed up it turns over alot to start.i did my intake plenum bs today i thought that would fix it but no.so the only thing i could think of would be fuel pessure reg;know can i put a aftermarket regulator in along with the stock one in (that is part of pump asmbly in tank).the reason why i think that i is that is becuase once it cools down 4-5hr it starts right up but i get dark smoke out the pipes.what do you think?
Try this. While trying to start when warm turn key and I assume it just keeps cranking, let off the key for a second and try again. For some reason, when my fuel pump was going, I could let off the key and turn back to start and it would fire right up. Did this for around 6-9 months than died.
