i have a 1998 1500 2wd and i think i like 31.5 inch tires the best. i switched up to 33's a couple months ago and my mileage plummeted (from about 17 to 13). what are your favorite tire sizes?

 

I think 36-37 look best on our trucks because they are the right proportion. But I think 33's are the most practicle.

 

33s (because that's what I have)

although 37s would be ideal.

 

you get your speedo recalibrated.

I have 265's, but I might go to 245 (bicycle tires) to squeeze out some more MPG.

 

well prefured is a 44in tire; but a practical is a 33in tire; and a economical is a 30in

 

Well it all depends on the lift, but I'm with Silver and will say that 37" tires look the best on our trucks.

I thought 38.5's looked better than 37's until now that I have them, but I think I will downsize to the 37's again next time I buy tires.

 

i don't have a lift on my truck, just a leveling kit. i already recalibrated my speedo.
