Default synthetic oil need additive or no

i have used organic oil in my truck and always used lucas additive.but always used synthetic oil in my street bike and yzf 450 mostly because of high revs and time between starts, and never used additive with them.i like additives (lucas+restore)are my favorite and probobly still put them in but that makes for a 30-40$ oil change i dont like the sound of that.

pipeking,

syn oil will break up a lot of sludge from Dino oil and pollute the syn. My advice is to run dino oil with a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil for 1000 miles and then drain and replace with Syn. Then change out every 3K for the next 3 changes. After that, you can probably go 5K between changes.

I Don't think most of the additives on the market will affect the properties of a syn oil, and the Restore seems to compliment it well when I run it once a year.

I don't know whats best but I use Royal Purple and don't use any additives. I'm not a huge fan of additives in stuff.
