Central Timer Module question
hey yall im about to be in the process of converting my truck to power locks and windows. i took apart some things to day just to check it out and it looks like it will a pretty straight forward swap( i bought all the door wiring regulators and actuators) with the connector goin to the door having what looks to be all the wires i need for the connection. but what i was wondering is do all CTMs come with the ability to use keyless like do i just need to get the transmitters or are there seperate types of CTMs. ive seen a lot of places where vehicles come with the wiring for extra features but just dont have the hardware is this one of those cases?
its my understanding that there are 2 versions. one 'standard' and one 'high line'. find out the part number on yours, and then pm forum member - parts/service with that info. he can tell you the part numbers for both, and can probably get you whatever you need, including wiring diagrams.
cool thanks but yea ive been lookin over the manual and it says three and im pretty sure i have the basic as mine didnt come with power anything but what im more worried about now is makin sure that when i get the parts in if it is prewired to work im hopen so but i dont have my dang multimeter with me lol
i also want to do that conversion to mine but i already have power door locks but noe power windows and i want to add the door panel with the remotes, power window regulateors, and i also need the wires but i want to know how i am going to connect the wires from the power windows to work like stock and i also want to wire the power locks that i already have to the power door lock remote but keep my alarm wired to when i take off the alarm the door unlocks
