Default frozen to the ground

I park my truck on my lower drive way when im at school. It's coverd in ice and snow and when i come home every couple weeks or so it take alot of gas to get moving. I leave it in 4wd because i need it to get out of the drive way. If i put it in low it gets out fine. Its only in high that it needs alot of gas. Is it just frozen to the ground or is something happening to the transmition or transfercase from being left in 4wd. Should i take it out of 4wd before i park and just put it in low when i first take it out? Thanks in advance.

is this a serious question. your truck is prob junk and your gears azre fried in the transfer case, wont last mush longer, have you not read in the owners manual about leaving the truck in 4 wheel drive?

Nah nothing is wrong with your truck that has happened to me and my family's vehicles before. Park it, sits overnight, start it the next morning and tryto move but she's frozen down. Give it somegas and you can here it and feel itbreak free. Seemed to happen to vehiclesin the non-heated garage moreso thanthe ones outside though...i wouldnt worry about it.

There is no problem leaving it in 4wheel unless you are driving on dry pavement alot. I used to leave my jeep P/U in 4wheel most of the winter with no problem. Check your tires and you should be able to see they are frozen in. The difference in putting it in low is you have more torque because of the gearing so it takes less throttle to break it free.
