My buddy has them on his truck. They are kinda cheap in my opinion. At first they were very stiff and you will feel every bump. It also doesn't help that he has his tire pressure at 80 psi to get better gas mileage, but yea... After they broke in, they ok I guess. They are still pretty stiff, and not really anything to write home about. Im gonna go for the bilsteins this summer, but... yea thats all the info I have on the skyjackers. They look like the just like the rancho's and procomps.... and you have to attach the skyjacker sticker to the generic white shock.

I have them. If you get them make sure you paint them before putting them on as if not they will be rusted looking in about a year. I replaced my Skyjacker ones with another set just because they were cheap and the others I wanted I couldn't find in the size I needed. I was going to go with Fox shocks but after talking to several people about them and getting close to ordering them I decided I didn't need to spend $1000 on shocks that would mostly be used to ride around town.

I noticed even after putting these on though they seem to if you push the front end down it keeps bouncing slightly like it does with bad shocks but maybe not quite as bad. Did this with them new. I don't know if they are just crappy shocks or if since it's a 4x4 if it's supposed to be like that.

Overall they are cheap and seem to work okay for what they cost but there seem to be a lot better options out there.

wow 80 psi[sm=badidea.gif] im sure thats exagerating but i understand where your friends coming from.

thats my problem now i feel everything after i put rough country's in . even the tar patches on the road get on my nerves its annoying and feels like the truck is going to pieces.. i drive mostly on pavement90% of the time and the roads where im from are the worst. just looking for a nice riding shock thats not stiff. and ithat ican get for my lifted truck

"i can tell you if a quarter is heads or tales by running over it".

hometheaterman:
my suspension doesnt bounce at all! i believe if i jumped it 10' high it would finally move upon landing its just to stiff for the street. i would go to gabriel or monroe for the ride quality but they said they cant cross reference for a lifted suspension..

thanks guys hope some more people chime in
