I installed the Mr. Gasket 1480

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku

Came with the rod, top, bottom, filter, and the neck to attach your breather hose. All in one kit. I replaced with a 2.5" tall filter. If I could find a 2.75" filter it would be perfect. I think 3" would be too tall for the mr. gasket.

So the 1480 comes with everything beside the wing nut to hold it down? Guess I'll go that route. Now is it accesible to change out the filter if I wanted to try a different brand, or is there some catch that the hold down plates would only accept mr gasket air cleaners?

Nope, you can use any 14" diameter filter (I already changed from the one they give you) If you find a filter that is 2.75" tall, please let me know. I'm running 2.5" tall because thats the tallest I can find that will fit. The 1480 comes with everything including wing-nut. Good luck man! Shoot me a PM if you have any questions about it.

Ok man I've been searching these things all over, think I found a 2.75 on Amazon, but I went through well over 50 pages through various web sites, so I couldn't tell ya what to type in, lol.
