[hr]Couldn find anything in the posts. Last night pulled up to buddies house and put my truck in park then when I went to turn the key off something happened I don't recall hearing anything but my music was on so might of missed it, anyway the key all of a sudden felt real loose and wouldn't come out. So i tried turning it back to restart the truck, nothing. All the electronics work, but the key has no spring in it, like that little resistance that sort of springs it back when you start the truck isn't there instead it just goes all the way down. Anyone else have this problem any ganders as to what happened.

Still trying to find a screwdriver to take of that plastic shroud around the column to see if anythings wrong. Unfortanetly I don't know what to look for.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

prolly time for a new ignition switch.
