Default No PCV valve hose ???

Can I use the Ram without the valve hose connected to the PCV valve ?I've replaced the valve but had to cut the hose. It will be replacedwhen I have time .Can't see it doing any harm but just in case let me know.
Thanks.

PVC hose hooks up to the manifold , and that will cause a high idle vacume leak , no it wont hurt , but i would only go as far as to get a replcement hose..

Could you put a standalone breather on the valve cover, and just block the vacuum port on the intake?

Had a look in my garage and found a piece of hose (off the BBQ). Cut it down and it fits perfectly.
