Default Headlight/Foglight control

OK
I searched on here for about two hours and either the answer is very well hidden or I didnt use the right combo of words. I have a '98 1500 4x4 that didnt come with foglights. Coincidentally, I need a new headlight switch. Mine is the pull-**** type that controls headlights dashlights and domelights. If I replace it with the same pull **** and install fog lights, does that switch and harness control them as well, or was that a different stock set-up in 1998? I ask because I dont see a filler panel on the control cluster where a seperate fog controlwould go. I've also seen switches on ebay that say they are for 98-01, but they look like this

AND THIS IS WHAT i CURRENTLY HAVE------>

I've seen some 2001s with stock fog lights, and the fog light "switch" is actually the pull ****... you pull it out to turn on the fog lights. The one without fogs does not pull out at all.

I got aftermarkets myself made of metal and glass rather than the stock plastics. Got them cheaper and they work better. If I wanted to go to the trouble of getting a fog-enabled switch, I could even wire them up to turn on like stocks, but I'm happy with the aftermarket one.

EDIT: One that pulls out for fogs (stock fogs) will look similar to this, but have mounting points like the one you showed.

Thanks for the info....I haven't looked yet, but I assume I already have the wiring for the stock fogs behind the dash panel?

MY1500.NET----Is it above the passenger airbag lock? I have an additional power outlet (cigarette lighter) there.

Wow I have been looking everywhere & I hope I never need to replace it as it seems that the only option is going to be the dealer. Hammer the foglight switch is in the same panel with the airbag switch, so that panel has 3 items, the foglight switch which is a push button, the airbag switch & the airbag indicator light. I will take a picture for you this evening since I can't find one anywhere else.

Oh wow, I'm sorry, I thought they changed the pull **** into the turn **** in 1998 model year. Guess I was mistaken.

No, what I showed you earlier will not work. My apologies for the attempt to lead you astray.

Thanks a lot guys......
Wow, even if I can find that set-up, I'm not sure I'd wan't to mess with swapping out the airbag controls. I'm ordering the mopar manual for my truck now, so maybe it'll show me how much of a headache that would be. Any suggestions on another route for putting in foglights?

Thanks again.
