does transfer case part of atf system
You have to physically add ATF to the transfer case, DO NOT USE GEAR OIL OF ANY SORT ONLY ATF
The tranny and transfer case aresealed off from each other
I use ATF +4 in my transfer case just because thats what I put in my tranny.......so it makes like a little easier not having 2 different kinds of ATF on stock

ok, are u shore.see i am use to haveing a standerd truck and all you do is replace the oil in the tranny and trasfer case like a differental.so on a automatic tranny, you replace the trasfercase oil like you would on a standerd but you use atf.

yes it takes atf+4. about 1 qt.
tip... remove the FILL plug first to make sure it will come off. then (and only then) remove the drain plug. both are 10MM hex NOT a 3/8 which will strip it out !!!!
