Default Anyone know Part # for a cooler Champion truck plug?

I know HankL has the post about running the plugs from a Stealth but I was gonna get some truck plugs and was curious if there was a cooler plug that fits a 99 ram, 360.

I'm showing part number 4436.

Thanks.

What year is your truck?
They changed the plug design slightly in 98. It has a slightly longer nose.
The truck plug that is listed is a sligtly colder range the stock plugs.
They work very well and last longer.
4071 is early built 4436 is late

http://tr6.danielsonfamily.org/spark...heat_range.htm

The number in the middle gets lower with the lower heat range. The factory is RC12LC4. I found RC10YC4 and RC8YC4 at Jeg's. They would be colder, but I don't know if the difference in the L and the Y would make a difference or not.

L= Skirted Shell Firing End / 200 degree Core Nose
Y= Standard Projected Core Nose

You could be the guinea pig...

I was reading up on hotter/colder heat ranges, and found this very interesting:reducing your plug's heat range by 1level can lead to temperatures 70 to 100 degrees Celsius (158-212 F) cooler in the combustion chamber...that amazes me.

Yes, but those are not the heavy duty truck plugs.

And for the other poster. My truck is a 1999.

Then use the 4436 plug
It is colder than the stock one but I can't say how much. I would guess maybe 2 heat ranges.
The Truck Plug is a heavy duty plug though. Much thicker electrode. I ran mine for 6 years and could have easily cleaned them and reinstalled. It just seemed like such a long time.
They look cool too. (if you could see them)
