I owned this truck a few years ago and traded it in in Seattle, WA and I was just wondering if anybody on the forum bought it or knows who has it. It was a 5.2L stock but I swapped in a 408 stroker. There was a lot of money spent on that motor and that's the reason I'm inquiring about it. I'm almost positive the dealer never knew all of the mods I made to this truck when I traded it so whoever owns it probably thinks it still has the 5.2L in it. I wish I could get my hands back on it but since that's not probable I'd really just like whoever bought it to appreciate it. Thanks for your help.

if you did all those mods, it should have alot more power then the 318.if it burns rubber i bet they think somthing fishy.

 

It was pushing 400+ h.p. and 400 ft./lbs. of torque. The pcm wasn't tuned right though so it wasn't running at full potential. It was a lot more powerful than the 318 but I still just wish I could let the owner know exactly what's in there so they can keep it maintained rather than junk it when it breaks down.

If you don't still have a copy of your vin, then your insurance company should still have a copy of the vin. Get it, take it to the DMV and pay the $10 or $15 what ever it is in your state and have then run a title history on it.
