all i want is a remote start no alarm.does mopar make somthing i could just plug in and use.my key fob doesnt have an extra button so i would need to get one.can somone lead me in the right direction

I'd recommend looking on your local Craigslist page under automotive services for remote starter. The Minneapolis site has several starting at $140 installed. The stealership is going to be that much just to pull your truck in their garage.

That's if you bring in the coupon. Without the coupon, pulling the truck in the garage is parts and labor, at least $199.

ill put it in no problem.i lust swore there was a mopar one that could pretty much just plugs in.and uses the stock key fob.there is right

I guess the only way for you to find out is to go to the stealership and inquire on your specific truck.

They sell a stand-alone remote start at wal-mart for $50 bucks, I have put them in my friends cars. A '03 ram and a '99 Suburban. They work well and were easy to install. Just get some splice connectors and the wiring diagram for the ignition, here can be found under "Merry Christmas" thread.

Sure it looks hard, but you can do it without "cutting into your ignition" nd then its only wires, so it makes a simple DIY, heck there may even be one here already.

i think thats great for 50 bucks,but then i would have to have two key fobs on my key ring along with my 15 keys.i tryed that once with my gerage door opener; i didnt like it.plus got to have dodge right.
