Default just got my 50mm tb....

from fastman he sent it thursday and i recieved it today its looking like i might do a quick swap of that prior to my plenum install as it looks like i wont be able to get to the plenum for a least 2 weeks maybe 3 and ineed to return my core ive got the directions and im sure i can do it in a short period of time is there anything i should look out for or something extra i should do when swapping the 2 maybe clean the sensors with something or rather im just checking real quik with yall i know yall have done it and well some havent but those of yopu who have pls chime in oh and would i have to remove my tb when i do the plenum install cause id hate to ruin that new gasket or do yall think i should wait and do all the repair and swap at the same time mind im like a kid at the candy store or a kid with money its got to be done right away......j

i would wait till after you do the plem install.... but gaskets are cheap just get another TB gasket and enjoy ..30 mins tops...

I asked Dan, aka the fastman, the same question. My 50mm was shipped out today. This is what he told me and I quote:

"Look in the manifold when the TB is off. Standing oil is bad. Blown Plenum Gasket. Just a sheen is normal.
Clean the IAC carefully and do not move the plunger. That is about it. Pretty simple install."

swapping TB is pretty easy. gasket is only $2.
move the 3 sensors over. if IAC has gunk on the plunger clean it with carb cleaner, electronics cleaner, or wd40. as said above, don't push/pull/twist on the plunger/pintel thingy on iac.

help its urgent i cant use gas pedal installed new tb did all the correct way i think and now cant use pedal does not go to floor..... everyone said it would run rough but it ran fine after install this is only problem cant drive to work in morn like this.....pls help

got it what a stupid mistake forgot to run the throttle cable under the lil knuckle so it has tension rund great what a differance magine itll run better tomorrow after the 40 miles of break in and give my comp time to relearn now just to takle the plenum and shell run like a top other than the cat problem and my tierods shell be great......j....great investment
