What is a good tire?
hankook mt tires are awesome! super quiet, ride great, look great, cheap and seem to be lasting pretty long. the only thing i would do differently is go bigger. check my sig for the name and size. got them off ebay for700 shipped for all four
BFG Mud terrain is what I use and I like them alot. They are fairly expensive, but they are going to outlast most mud terrain tires. If you don't go with BFG I've also heard good things about Pro Comp mud terrains. Also take it from me if your one of those jackasses who can't stop spinning your tires when you get that urge don't buy nice tires lol. but my BFGs ride great on the interstate. I have made truck cruising at 90 mph with no problem and my BFGs are 35's so they are definitely a quality tire
I like the round black ones that I get get a set of for close to 500 bucks. I like the Dunlop Stampede Radial AT in 265's. They have an agressive tread, but are not noisy (too much on the highway)...
BUT (and there is always a big but)
I like the Goodyear Wilderness 265 my Yukon has now. Not agressive tread but no problems in wet or snow. Probably better mileage too. Everything is about rolling resistance now.
