Stuttering/Vibration in Reverse
Allright guys, Im new here so go easy on me
I am however, not new to the Dodge Ram pickup truck. I am, to say the least, a fanatic. Ive had an 98' gas, 02' diesel, 03' gas, 05' diesel, 04' diesel and am now on my "downsizing project" a 2000 3/4 ton. It has 71,000 miles on it and is in excellent shape for an 8 year old truck. Since Ive had it, (month and a half) Ive done the glorious plenum/intake gasket swap and adjusted the rear brakes. My problem is this, while in reverse I feel a shuttering feeling coming through the chassis. I originally thought it was a brake problem (hanging-up) and found that the rear brakes were pretty tight. I lossened them to specs and noticed a slight improvement. I mostly feel in reverse but sometimes while turning into a parking spot. Still feels like brakes to me but dont know what else to do to diagnose this. Your expertise and help are greatly appreciated.

There was a TSB on this involving a valve in the Transmission:
