Default 2wd Leveling Kit Milage Question?

Hi there,
I was wondering. If I decided to put in a leveling kit on my 2wd pickup, oh, say 1.5-2.5 inches, would that effect my gas milage at all? Right now I suppose I get about 14-17 mpg. What do you guys think?

Thanks alot

Oh I also have a post about arear endlocker, will you guys please look at that and help me out too? Thanks

On paper yes, because aerodynamics does suffer no matter how much higher you go. In the real world, a leveling kit won't hurt mpg no where near as much as a lead foot. No worries, your mpg will be just fine (for a truck that is.)

Yeah, I figured that the aerodinamics part of it would be different. I just wasnt sure if it was enough change to say so. Yup, I think I might give it a try.

It's a truck so gas milage was never part of the equation. Go for it, but you can only go up to 2" lift w/o aftermarket ucas. As far as the Tuff Country kit, my guess would be that either the spacer itself compressed a little, being polyurethane and all. That or your stock springs are very fatigued and saged. For a locker, try LockRight. Heard good things about it and it's only in the $350 range if you find a deal.
